Var'DilThe Serpent of the Void is... the best champion ever.
Var'Dil, The Serpent of the Void
Var'Dil's body is XXX units long and trails behind him when he moves. While standing still, his tail will catch up and coil beneath his head. Var'Dil's vision extends along the full length of his body, but the radius diminishes to only 50% by the tip of his tail. Var'Dil's body is made up of several target-able sections, but each section takes reduced damage up to 50% reduced damage by the tip of his tail. The damage reduction from Creeping Death will reduce sources of true damage.
Aim for the head!
Var'Dil will not take damage multiple times from area of effect abilities (e.g. Brand's Pillar of Flame) excepting abilities that specifically hit larger targets more times (e.g. Graves' Destiny and Ashe's Volley).
If multiple sections of Var'Dil are hit, Var'Dil will always take the greater amount of damage.
Abilities that bounce will consider all of Var'Dil to be one target.
Active:Var'Dil pulls his tail toward him, dealing magic damage to enemies along its path. He uses the momentum of his tail to perform a spiral attack, releasing a burst of energy that deals magic damage to all enemies surrounding his head based on how far his tail moved.
Toggle:Var'Dil's body pulsates with energy, sending a ripple down the length of his body that emits shockwaves from each section. Overlapped sections will only pulsate once.
Cost: X mana per second
Shockpulse's cost is per ripple and it will continue down the length of his body even after the ability is toggled off.
Active:Var'Dil begins charging, increasing the range of Netherbreath over the next 3 seconds. After 3 seconds or when reactivated, Var'Dil unleashes a maelstrom of energy forward in a cone applying stacks of Void Burn to enemies hit. The number of stacks is based on the charge duration.
Void Burn: Targets afflicted by Void Burn take magic damage over 5 seconds, per stack.
Active:Var'Dil leaps up into the sky, becoming untargetable for up to 3 seconds. Once his body has fully ascended, Var'Dil can reactivate the ability to descend at the target location. Var'Dil will descend on the spot if no target location is input. Var'Dil's body creates shockwaves as it impacts with the ground, dealing magic damage and applying a stack of Void Burn with each shockwave.
Var'Dil's movement speed will affect how fast his body will ascend and descend.
I opt'd to make his ultimate interact with his serpentine body - rather than instantly leaping into the air and instantly dropping. He'll now sequentially leave the ground and sequentially impact with the ground at the target location.
